Privacy Policy

1. What DartPDF processes
Most document operations are designed to begin in your browser. When a paid download, checkout recovery, account feature, or another server-backed feature requires it, a processed file and limited metadata may be securely uploaded and temporarily stored so the requested service can be delivered.
2. Information we may collect
We may process account identifiers such as email address, authentication information handled by our authentication provider, payment and subscription status, transaction identifiers, tool/usage information, technical/security logs, and temporary file metadata needed to provide downloads and prevent abuse. DartPDF does not need your full payment-card number; card payments are processed by Stripe.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide document tools and downloads, authenticate accounts, process and verify purchases, administer subscriptions and entitlements, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, troubleshoot failures, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Document files and retention
We do not claim ownership of your documents. Browser-first processing is used where supported. Files that must be uploaded for paid-download delivery or recovery are intended to be temporary and are subject to expiration and cleanup. Users should not treat DartPDF as permanent document storage and should keep their own originals.
5. Service providers
We use service providers for functions such as authentication/database/storage, payments, email delivery, hosting/deployment, and security. These providers process information under their own applicable terms and privacy commitments as needed to provide their services.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, preferences, and operation of the Service. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this policy and any legally required consent controls should be updated before they are enabled.
7. Your choices and privacy requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction-record, and other permitted retention requirements. Contact privacy@dartpdf.com. We will verify requests as appropriate before acting on them.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and access-control measures intended to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
9. Children
DartPDF is a general-audience document utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date and, when appropriate, additional notice. Privacy inquiries: privacy@dartpdf.com.
